Pairing: Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 43,025
Summary: Ten minutes to go to ground zero and Artyom was still desperately trying to escape. “I have never attended little girl’s birthday party,” he pointed out repeatedly, and actually pouted, big blue eyes wide and pleading.
“Always a first time,” Napoleon said mercilessly, pulling on a charcoal Tom Ford blazer over his loose gray knit. “Mrs Siegfried invited us weeks ago, Artyom, don’t be a baby. You’ve had quite a while to gird your loins. We’re going to a party, not some sort of trench warfare. Smile.”
Artyom scowled, which was admittedly normally an adorable look even for a tall, blonde Russian giant of a man. “I do not like Mrs Siegfried,” Artyom declared, clearly intent on being as recalcitrant as possible.

all that you have wished for, I know will come your way
Fandom: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015)

Pairing: Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 21,720
Summary: Napoleon isn’t quite sure he can put yes, because your superiors don’t get to see you gloating when you’re not playing chess against yourself, and they don’t get to discuss dumb opera plots with you, they don’t get to see you engrossed in cheap paperbacks and treat them like first editions because you care that much about what they say, and they don’t get to see that you have a personality and that it’s everything but unpleasant when one gets to know you, and I don’t understand why would anyone think it’s a good idea to treat you like an asset and not a person in words that might not sound completely ridiculous, never mind that he’s not even sure Illya would take such a rant seriously.
Or: where Illya has issues asking for what he wants if it falls under the unnecessary-to-his-job radar and Napoleon just might be a bit over in his head, but he's entirely willing to rectify that situation.

Did we talk about your love of Halestom and Brandon Flowers? and Papa Roach? Or was it just a dream? :D I'm like ready to cry 'cause YES! And I love new album of Hurts...And FoB's album and...aww!
By the way, did you like The Enemy? And what about The Proposal?

Love is a very strong word in some of these cases! I love Lzzy Hale’s voice, but generally like their cover versions (like Bad Romance or Get Lucky a lot more than their original songs). I’m a big fan of The Killers, but Brandon’s solo albums leave me rather cold apart from 2 or 3 songs. I heard Warriors on an internet radio since I don’t really listen to Papa Roach anymore and listened to it over and over again for a period of time :D
I actually don’t like the new Hurts album that much (except for Rolling Stone). Exile was such an amazing album, but I don’t really like how they changed their style here. The Fall Out Boy album is my favorite this year!
Enemy is a weird movie and I looked up an explanation afterwards, but apparently I’m not the only one who needed that. I didn’t even realize that it wasn’t in chronological order.
I usually don’t like romantic comedies that much, but The Proposal was great. I like the fake relationship trope (in movies, TV shows and fanfic) and saw some funny gifs on tumblr, so I gave it a try. I ended up liking it also because it wasn’t that much about her falling in love with a guy, but also about falling in love with having a family and wanting to spend time with a family.

Actually I've found them just by the Bad Romance one and I Get Lucky :D Talking about original songs..."It's not you" is a pretty cool one and I even have a playlist of their other songs but it depends on my mood, I'm not a big fan of their lyrics so can get pretty bored. But her voice is amazing!
Meanwhile The Killers can be really good with lyrics yeah ;) I was into them for a pretty long time, but then on my 21st birthday they came to Kiev and this concert was just amazing! Brandon has improved his vocal pretty much for a last few years and I loved every minute of that evening. Talking about his solos...I think I love the 1st one more, and it's funny but I'm in a big love with the one with Starsailor ("Tell me it's not over"), I can't explain it... ;) "Mr Brightside" is like a personal anthem to be honest I think I'm gonna love this song till the end of my days because it makes me it's a pretty personal song and I know it my whole life and I love it and yeah, that's all. I love "When you were young", I'm a huge fan of the "For reasons unknown", "Read my mind", "Somebody told me" is too cool to be true, and "Runaways" is breathtaking! Oh I can talk about these songs and listen to them like hours and hours ;) "Jenny was a friend of mine"..."Joy Ride"? Well, I'll try to stop myself right here :D It's pretty clear - this comment is all about The Killers, nothing more, I can't make myself

That's exactly what I feel like, too! I really hope they'll do another EP with just cover versions.

I was at a Killers' concert after Sam's Town came out and was honestly surprised by how amazing they are live. In addition to that, the audience was awesome, Brandon was so happy and they even played more songs then they intended because you could see them discussing the encore on stage :D
"Jenny was a Friend of Mine" was the song I played on repeat when I first got that album. Somehow it was also not easy to get their first album in Germany, so I waited four weeks for the delivery. I can't even say what my favorite song is, but "Somebody Told Me" is definitely special since it was the first song from The Killers I've ever heard <3
