#072: Icons

My exams are (kinda) over \o/
The first thing I did this morning was vacuuming my room...

Some of the icons were made for ic0nfest . It's always fun, although I didn't have so much time this round. I signed up for another round at gilmore20in20 as well, so there will (hopefully!) be another update in the next 10 days.

I also want to make a new layout or change the colors again. Hmm...

I really love this batch. I have checked out some of your previous batches, and your coloring has become much cleaner, softer and the colorings are much more in balance. <3 I'm looking forward to more future batches. :)

I'm so happy that you said that, because I'm getting much more comfortable with my icons lately. I still love some of my older stuff, but mostly it's just one icon of each batch LOL

I'm still in the experience staged of my coloring. >.< Someday it's good. However, sometimes it's like I forgot the basics. XD Once you got a coloring you like, do you save your settings?

Btw, I have also downloaded some of your color texture. Pretty. <3

I save the .psds of colorings I like. If I think a screencap would look good with one of my old colorings, I just use it again and change some of the setting or add another texture. I do that a lot actually :D

<3. How do you get your soft glowing look btw? A softlight layer?

Yep, I add that to nearly all of my icons. Sometimes I probably shouldn't though LOL

It worked pretty well with most of them. Especially those Pixar icons and Fringe icons. :)
