#064: Some random stuff and 2 memes
Hi!
It's been a while, again.
Although I do have some old contest entries and a couple of other icons which I haven't posted yet, RL wasn't really kind to me in the last two weeks.
I had to retake two exams and some other stuff happened. Both of these things occupied my mind for the whole time, but fortunately that's all over now.
I also wanted to code my own layout again, for which I already made some kind of concept in PS. I hope I'll get to that in the next two weeks.
There are also two or three "bases" for a texture set waiting, one actually just needs to be cropped.

gilmore20in20 and the entry will be posted later today. I'm thinking about doing something for the current challenge at picspammy, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen.
There was also a 40 Days Meme atdean_sam (quite a while ago) and again I want to post my answers here as well:
Day 1 → What character would you like to see return from the dead?
The rather unpopular answer I'd give is (of course) Bela, but I'm not sure what if she would be that useful :D
So I'd say Pamela, Ellen or Ash. Especially Ash would probably fit to season six if it's supposed to be a little more like season one again.
Definitely not on my list is John. Sorry, but he'd probably just bring more problems back into the show and I just don't really like his character...as much as I like JDM.
Day 2 → Which season has your favorite storyarc?
Season 3. The way they try to stop Dean's deal and in the end they don't succeed which is something you would actually not expect.
Day 3 → What's your favorite "sonofabitch!" moment?
The end of "Bad Day At Black Rock" when Bela drives away. They're really breaking character there, right? The way Jared is laughing before Jensen says it :D
Day 4 → What scene you thought should have gone differently?
In "Malleus Maleficarum" Dean should have just shot Ruby.
I'm pretty sure they would have found another solution to get Sam to drink demon blood, because that is obviously important. Making his addiction depend on more than one character/circumstance maybe would have been better.
Day 5 → Best or favorite fake ID/disguise?
While I like the references (especially the ones I actually get LOL) it's more the "costume" which I remember. My favourites would be the ones in "Phantom Traveler" (and how Dean reacts) and the ones in "Monster Movie", mainly because they lookhot great in black and white.
Day 6 → Character/actor who appeared as guest you'd like to see come back to SPN and hasn't died?
I know I'm repeating myself, but: Jamie <3
She'd make a kick-ass hunter :D
And Crowley of course.
Day 7 → Which guest actor would you most like to see appear on SPN? (who hasn't been on the show already) And what kind of role would you like to see them play?
Joshua Jackson would be awesome. He and Jensen are still friends, so I'm sure they could include some insider jokes :D
He could play another hunter I guess.
Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, I really wanted her as Lucifer's vessel. Of course I want her to play one of the bad guys ;)
Day 8 → If you had to choose some song for Sam, Dean, Sam/Dean what it would be?
Sam/Dean: Nine Inch Nails - We're In This Together (the one and only Wincest song for me ♥)
Sam: Nine Inch Nails - Demon Seed
Dean: I don't know, probably another song from Nine Inch Nails, "The Good Soldier" maybe :D
It's not even my favourite band, but I think the songs just really fit. I don't what would happen to me if they'd use one of their songs in the show :D
Day 9 → Best fight in the show?
Another difficult question, but I'd say the one in "Skin".
Day 10 → Best WTF moment?
And suddenly Bobby is dead in "Swan Song". It felt like someone punched me. I mean I somehow did expect Castiel to die and come back, but Bobby was kinda unexpected.
Also the end of "Swan Song" with Sam standing outside Lisa's house was something I didn't see coming.
Day 11 → Favorite motel room?
The one in “Provenance” and how they reacted.
Day 12 → Favorite clothes?
I always love when they are wearing suit and tie, but Dean’s leather jacket is definitely an important part of the show for me :P
Day 13 → Favorite episode for each season?
I really have the feeling that I’m repeating myself.

Season 2: Born Under A Bad Sign
Season 3: Bad Day At Black Rock
Season 4: Yellow Fever
Season 5: My Bloody Valentine
Day 14 → Favorite storyline within the overall storyarc?
Sam and Dean are hunted by the FBI. I really loved this, because sooner or later someone has to find out that these two are connected to several crimes. I kinda miss the occasional “mistaken-for-a-couple” ;)
Day 15 → What's your favorite smiling moment?
Probably every time when one of them smiles in the first two seasons. Although there was so much stuff going on, there was still a much lighter feeling in all of their interactions.
Day 16 → What's your favorite Supernatural weapon?

Day 17 → Bravest minor character?
Ellen and Jo. Although the Winchesters always meant bad luck they still supported them and even died for them.

When Sam gives Dean the amulet in "A Very Supernatural Christmas". I was pretty crushed when Dean threw it away :(
Day 20 → Favorite gag reel snippet?
The elevator out-takes from "It's A Terrible Life", the whole thing with the already pressed button and Jensen says "You do it all the time. I've seen you do it."
Day 21 → What kind of plot do you prefer: Old school or the Apocalypse Arc?
Old School, definitely! I love the episode where's only a MotW and some mild family issues (obviously these are always present). As much as I loved Castiel at the beginning I started to get sick of it pretty soon.
Day 22 → A moment you felt pissed and wanted to hit Sam and Dean for their decicions?
Dean: When he didn't believe in Sam (5x18, I think).
Sam: In "When The Levee Breaks" he got yet another chance to choose is brother over Ruby, but he didn't.
Day 23 → Your favourite Monster of the week?
Shapeshifters. I've loved every shapeshifters episode so far, although Bloody Mary was probably the creepiest MotW.
Day 24 → Character from another show you'd most like to see guest on SPN
Abby from NCIS. The NCIS team "accidentally" finds a MotW and Abby is the only one who believes the weird ghost-hunting brothers.
Day 25 → Favorite kiss/love/sex scene?
Again I have to say Dean/Jamie. Simply because I really like them together. As much as I like (especially Jensen^^) showing a little more skin, I'm not the biggest fan of the sex scenes *shrugs*
The only kiss that showed real love (whatever kind of love it was) to me was in "Abandon All Hope..." when Dean kissed Jo.
Day 26 → Show you'd most like Dean or Sam to guest star on?
Moonlight
I was actually hoping that the CW would really pick up Moonlight again only to see if they'd make a combined promo for both shows.
Day 27 → Favourite writer/director?
Writer: I think Ben Edlund, but I'm not sure I have a favourite writer.
Director: I'd say Robert Singer, mainly because I love the visual setups in "Bloodlust" so much.
Day 28 → what other supernatural creatures you would like to see Dean and Sam to deal with?
I recently read a fic which had a Baykok in it. I think it would be a great MotW.
And the Headless Horseman would be awesome.
Day 29 → Would you rather prefer the idea of separate not so many hunters or large branched net of them existing just from the beginning of times developed in the show later?
It's a little weird that they do not run into other hunters on their actual hunts. I think changing that now would be a little weird. On the other hand if there's a real network the others would probably know if a hunt is already taken care of.
Day 30 → What else might be added (developed or gifted) to the brothers skills of hunters if we speak about them as hereditary hunters from one of the most famous family of hunters in America?
Since they are vessels they probably do have more powers than most other people. Okay, Sam already knows that he can kill demons if he drinks demon blood, but maybe Dean has a "hidden talent" as well.
Day 31 - Your ideal SPN ending?
Before "Swan Song" I always wanted them to drive of a cliff together when the Apocalypse is over (how clichéd). Maybe one of the them is already dying and the other one realizes that there's nothing he could do.
Now I'd prefer a happy ending. Both of them driving to their next hunt after a short vacation for example.
Basically I'm happy if they both die or if they are both still alive.
Day 32 - Favorite death/body explosion (bad guy/zombie/demon)?
Ruby's death at the end of "Lucifer Rising" was awesome.
There were many other good death scenes, but this one was the most fun :D
Day 33 - Favorite Dean eating moment?
The one in "Time Is On My Side". Sam is telling him all about really gross stuff while Dean's eating. In the end Dean says "No, baby, I can't stay mad at you" to the burger.
Day 34 - Favorite hug?
The one at the end of "Mystery Spot" (especially if it was really ad-libbed) or the one at the beginning of "Lazarus Rising".
Day 35 - Favorite Castiel scene? Favorite Bobby scene?
Castiel's entrance will always be one of my favourite scenes.
I like Bobby's more "serious" scenes with the boys. You can see how much he's a father figure for them.
Day 36 - Favorite con?
Asylum Europe, I guess, because it's the only one I've ever been to and it'll probably the first and last.
Day 37 - Fave Jared movie/other show?
I have to say "Gilmore Girls". It's the only other thing I watched except for "Cry_Wolf". All of his other movies are on my hard drive, but I haven't seen them yet.
Day 38 - Fave Jensen movie/other show?
My Bloody Valentine. It's kinda embarrassing how much I like this movie.
I never watched Dark Angel (which is on my hard drive as well), but most of his other stuff. I have to say he wasn't too bad in Smallville, but that didn't make me want to watch more of the show :D
Day 39 - If you were a director who you would like to direct (Jared or Jensen) and what kind of movie?
Jensen as a high-class criminal and Jared as the FBI agent who chases him.
Day 40 - If you were on an island, which two episodes would you pick to have with you and why?
While the Pilot is not one of my favourite episodes, it's one I could watch over and over again. My other choice would be "Bad Day At Black Rock" because it's my favourite episode and my most watched one.
Day 40, umm, b?- What kind of movie/tv show would you like to see Jared and Jensen star in after SPN ends?
I know that Jared wants to do movies, but I honestly don’t think he’d be more than just a horror-typecast. I think he’d be really good in one of the cop shows, something CSI-like.
In my eyes Jensen is the much better actor and I think that he could to everything he wants as long as he gets more than just offerings for different horror movies…
And I'm finally able to make this Icon Meme, because I actually have more than 15 icons (since March...)
