Devil to Pay
Fandom: Daredevil

Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Word Count: 26,604

“Seeing Matt like this – bruised and bloodied – it should seem to Foggy that his friend was broken and weak. But instead all he saw was power. Matt was pure, coiled power, nothing but bone, muscle, and skin out there fighting off the bad guys. Saving people from the darkness. Fighting for what he wanted: the people in his city safe from fear.”

to memory now I can't recall
Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe

Pairing: James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 102,600
Summary: While on a mission storming a HYDRA facility, James Buchanan Barnes touches one of the many strange alien devices collected by the Red Skull. He does this, in fact, twice— in the past, and in the future.
Next thing he knows, Bucky Barnes is opening his eyes in the 21st century, which is full of great gadgets and coffee, and at least includes his old pal Steve. (And, inexplicably, a different Stark.) Meanwhile, the Winter Soldier finds himself in the middle of World War Two, helping Captain America hunt down HYDRA (which is at least familiar), pretending to be Bucky Barnes (which is not), and figuring out the very noisy group of soldiers who call themselves the Howling Commandos.

Matt was one of those Avenging Angel types, and he was /really/ good at his job.

Winter's Children
Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe

Pairing: James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 66,888
Summary: When their attempts to recreate the super soldier serum failed, Hydra started trying to breed Captain America clones from his genetic samples. Unfortunately, the serum's effects aren't passed down genetically, so instead of an army of tiny Captain Americas, they get a bunch of tow-headed, asthmatic, allergic, immuno-compromised little Steves.
And then the Winter Soldier stumbles across Hydra's failed experiment...

Rating: Mature
Word Count: 11,702

Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe

Well…sort of meets him.

Or: The fic where millennial Bucky Barnes nearly runs over a freshly thawed national treasure, and what Steve Rogers did to adjust to modern NYC during those two weeks before the events of The Avengers.

The Trojan Affair
Fandom: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015)

Pairing: Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 43,025
Summary: Ten minutes to go to ground zero and Artyom was still desperately trying to escape. “I have never attended little girl’s birthday party,” he pointed out repeatedly, and actually pouted, big blue eyes wide and pleading.
“Always a first time,” Napoleon said mercilessly, pulling on a charcoal Tom Ford blazer over his loose gray knit. “Mrs Siegfried invited us weeks ago, Artyom, don’t be a baby. You’ve had quite a while to gird your loins. We’re going to a party, not some sort of trench warfare. Smile.”
Artyom scowled, which was admittedly normally an adorable look even for a tall, blonde Russian giant of a man. “I do not like Mrs Siegfried,” Artyom declared, clearly intent on being as recalcitrant as possible.

all that you have wished for, I know will come your way
Fandom: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015)

Pairing: Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 21,720
Summary: Napoleon isn’t quite sure he can put yes, because your superiors don’t get to see you gloating when you’re not playing chess against yourself, and they don’t get to discuss dumb opera plots with you, they don’t get to see you engrossed in cheap paperbacks and treat them like first editions because you care that much about what they say, and they don’t get to see that you have a personality and that it’s everything but unpleasant when one gets to know you, and I don’t understand why would anyone think it’s a good idea to treat you like an asset and not a person in words that might not sound completely ridiculous, never mind that he’s not even sure Illya would take such a rant seriously.
Or: where Illya has issues asking for what he wants if it falls under the unnecessary-to-his-job radar and Napoleon just might be a bit over in his head, but he's entirely willing to rectify that situation.

Did we talk about your love of Halestom and Brandon Flowers? and Papa Roach? Or was it just a dream? :D I'm like ready to cry 'cause YES! And I love new album of Hurts...And FoB's album and...aww!
By the way, did you like The Enemy? And what about The Proposal?

[identity profile] forgalisa.livejournal.com 2015-12-23 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually I've found them just by the Bad Romance one and I Get Lucky :D Talking about original songs..."It's not you" is a pretty cool one and I even have a playlist of their other songs but it depends on my mood, I'm not a big fan of their lyrics so can get pretty bored. But her voice is amazing!
Meanwhile The Killers can be really good with lyrics yeah ;) I was into them for a pretty long time, but then on my 21st birthday they came to Kiev and this concert was just amazing! Brandon has improved his vocal pretty much for a last few years and I loved every minute of that evening. Talking about his solos...I think I love the 1st one more, and it's funny but I'm in a big love with the one with Starsailor ("Tell me it's not over"), I can't explain it... ;) "Mr Brightside" is like a personal anthem to be honest I think I'm gonna love this song till the end of my days because it makes me feel...like it's a pretty personal song and I know it my whole life and I love it and yeah, that's all. I love "When you were young", I'm a huge fan of the "For reasons unknown", "Read my mind", "Somebody told me" is too cool to be true, and "Runaways" is breathtaking! Oh I can talk about these songs and listen to them like hours and hours ;) "Jenny was a friend of mine"..."Joy Ride"? Well, I'll try to stop myself right here :D It's pretty clear - this comment is all about The Killers, nothing more, I can't make myself
