I'm not saying I'm bad (I don't think I am), but I've been making icons since 2007 and most people who started 4 years ago are much better by now. I just don't make many icons either.

I actually don't know how to make other textures. Cutting out stuff from stock photos just doesn't seem like texture making for me. I'm glad you like them :)
